Jonathan received an award for achievement at the San Andreas Regional Center 20th Annual Service Above Self Awards Dinner on Oct. 20, 2018 for creating and publishing his childrens book "The Lost Penguins from Antartica!"

Fourteen-year-old Jonathan Ebel is a prolific artist. If there’s nothing to do, the high-functioning autistic Los Altos resident can draw all afternoon. In fact, he uses up a ream of paper every two or three days.
